Get answers to common questions about Fingers Waxing.
Typical results last two to six weeks depending on individual hair growth, skin type, and aftercare. Consistent waxing can slow regrowth and make hair finer. We recommend scheduling maintenance every three to five weeks for best smoothness and upkeep.
Some clients feel brief stinging during hair removal, but sessions are quick. Our technicians use gentle wax, pre-treatment cleansing, calming compresses, and post-wax soothing lotion to reduce sensitivity and speed recovery for comfortable results.
Ensure hair is 3 to 5 millimeters long for effective removal. Avoid exfoliating or applying oils 24 hours pre-treatment, and skip moisturizers on the day. Tell us about recent skin procedures or medications so we can adjust the service safely.
We recommend waiting 24 hours before a manicure to allow skin to calm and avoid irritation. If necessary, we can apply a gentle barrier and soothing lotion; discuss timing with your technician to ensure optimal results and nail polish adhesion.
Avoid waxing if you have open cuts, sunburn, active rashes, dermatitis, or are using retinoids, chemical peels, or certain medications that thin skin. Inform us of allergies, recent treatments, or medical conditions so we can advise and modify or reschedule.
Avoid hot baths, saunas, and heavy exercise for 24 hours. Keep the area clean, apply our calming lotion or aloe gel, and avoid exfoliation for 48 hours. Use SPF and moisturize regularly to maintain softness and prevent irritation.
